Ken Zylla
Ken Zylla
Ken Zylla’s beginnings in art go back decades to a time and place where wildlife and nature provided the foundation for his career. As a native mid-westerner, he enjoyed unlimited access to the lakes, woods, rivers and small towns surrounding him, developing a sincere appreciation for the “simpler life.” Self-taught, Ken’s popularity is credited to how relatable his paintings are and how each one tells a story. With bold color and attention to detail, Ken creates a dialog with the everyday fabric of our lives.
His blending of the elements, such as weather, sunlight, time of day, the seasons, along with his choice of subjects, bring each piece to a precise place in time. Ken’s work is displayed in several corporate and private collections throughout the US and several foreign countries. Ken has lent his support to several conservation organizations and has shared his skill through teaching and lecturing.
