A triangle rug gripper holds the corner of a rug flat so it stops curling and sliding. The triangular shape sits flush into the corner, leaving no loose tab of fabric to catch a toe.
This is the shape to choose when the problem is corners specifically. A rectangular pad leaves a small triangle of rug free at the point of the corner, and that is the bit that lifts. The triangle fills it. One face grips the rug backing, the other grips the floor.
How to put them on
- Peel the film marked rug and press the pad firmly into the corner of the rug.
- Peel the floor side and set the rug down where you want it.
- Lean on it with your forearm for about thirty seconds.
Which floors they work on
Hardwood, laminate, LVP, vinyl, tile, stone, sealed concrete and low-pile carpet. Because the pad grips the rug itself, they also work as a carpet gripper for a rug laid over carpet.

Common questions
Will they damage my floor or leave residue?
They lift away without residue on sealed floors. If your floor is waxed, oiled or freshly refinished, stick one pad somewhere hidden and lift it after a day before committing the whole rug.
They stopped sticking. Are they finished?
Usually not. Dust is what kills the grip, not age. Wipe the pad with rubbing alcohol, let it dry and press it back down.
Triangle or rectangle, which should I get?
Triangles for corners that curl. Rectangles if you also want to hold down a long runner edge, since a rectangle can be trimmed and run along a straight section.
Can I cut them to fit?
Yes. Trim one with scissors and it works as rug tape along a runner edge or a straight section that keeps curling.
