But before we begin, let me briefly explain the concept behind these number kits if you haven’t heard about them before. Paint by Numbers kits come as sheets with a bunch of printed numbers. Each number represents one of the colors shipped together with the numbers kit.

I can’t think of a landscape more relaxing than a sunset by the lakeside. Although you don’t see the sun itself, you can glimpse its faint rays penetrating through the cloudy sky.
The green trees over the other side contrast stunningly with the yellow shades. You can even play around and paint some white strokes over their reflections to intensify the effect.
The small white rowboat fits well with the overall view. You can also add some weathering effects to the wood to make it look more dramatic.

I’ve always wanted to live in a small hut by a river. A place that nobody knows about. Unfortunately, this dream has yet to be achieved. But I got a glimpse of what it’d look like through this fantastic kit.

Frankly, I’m amazed by the incredible attention to detail. Almost all the strokes resemble the original piece. The only thing different is the slightly brighter yellow tone, which I think looks better over the royal blue.
